Here We Are / Dandaka Dharma

Nina Paley is a wonderful cartoonist who has created an animation, a work in progress, called Sita Sings the Blues. The first animation is the only one I’ve watched so far, so that I might have something to look forward to throughout the coming week.

    Nina and I went to the same high school and I watched from the sidelines as she began to create SSTB a few years back. What I find funny is that you are the third New Orleanian I know to have discovered this in the last few days. What gives?

    Yeah, what gives? It’s such a pretty cartoon though. The last time I was into her, it was her cartoon “Fetch”:http://clusterfunction.com/video/ninapaleydotcom/Fetch/fetchsoundSorensen.mov, which I also liked.
