I live in Baton Rouge, and called to make an appointment for a color, I heard his sister say the words he had past away, was a shock to my system. I can not understand how an individual could be so in-human. I enjoyed spending my day at his salon when I had an appointment because Robin had so many stories to tell, and was alway full of life! You never really realize until someone is actually gone, the void that thier passing left. I lost my sister in December 2006 this just added make the void greater. But my memories of both are like the old Beatles tune "In my life" When i play that i will alawys think of Robin and my sister. I miss them both.... If anyone among us "knew" who the person who killed Robin, I would hope they would immediately call the police and wouldn't feel the need to run around telling people "Everyone knows who did it...." or "I had this dream about Robin" instead. To date, Robin's murder remains unsolved, but unfortunately there's a hundred of you out there who are pretty free with your opinions regarding such things. Robin's death is still very fresh and raw in my memory and unsubstantiated gossip doesn't help bring his killer to justice. I've been talking to some people about this and the most disturbing aspect of it all is that there are some of you out there that for whatever reason think it's perfectly acceptable to say you know who did it, everyone knows who did it, etc. regarding such things without backing any of it up with anything resembling fact. I caution you to couch your opinions with a bit of delicacy before you find yourself in an interrogation cell to explain how you "know" so much. The bottom line is, if you know something and/or you are running around saying you know who did it, you need to talk to an NOPD homicide detective, like Det. Barnes. If you don't know something useful, do us all a favor and shut your mouth rather than using this horrendous act to elevate your waning social status. I ask that the community PLEASE DO NOT give up. Your belief that someone knows something but either doesn't realize it OR they aren't coming forward with that information may very well be true - but there's no way of knowing. I sincerely hope that the investigative team was diligent enough to grab as much evidence from the crime scene as possible (forensically). This may sound rather crazy but they might want to consider a Psychic Detective if the investigation gets stuck or goes cold. I don't know if a Psychic Dectective would indeed be the answer but Robin was a very passionate man and to me it would logically follow that psychically Robin could me detected. IAnd though I couldn't explain the particulars as to how such a detective's abilities ACTUALLY WORK IN PRACTICE I do feel that every option should be considered in the desire to solve this murder. Robin was a dynamo in life I can ONLY believe that he's a dynamo in the spirit realm as well (that's merely my opinion). All I know is I would give ANYTHING to know "who done it" as would quite a number of other individuals. I pray nightly and daily that definitive evidence comes to light so the gutter snipe piece of trash may be identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
